Trewman & Henry distributes unique merchandise under the brand “Dogs Make Better People” to both raise funds for animal shelters and awareness for dog adoption opportunities.
Trewman & Henry targets both the dog lover and humanitarian, though all people, young and old, fall in the company’s demographic. Trendsetters with a heart will appreciate these fashions for a cause.
Inspired by its namesake dogs, Trewman & Henry strives to promote, animal rescue, fostering and adoption. The “Dogs Make Better People” brand communicates the mutual benefits animals and people can share together. The needs of dogs are great, but their love and loyalty are wonderful rewards.
Our ability to grow and achieve our vision is supported by our commitment to providing the finest merchandise and delivering it on time, every time and to communicating the company’s message through traditional and social media.
The company will continue to expand its product line as well as the beneficiaries of its proceeds. Cats Make Better People and Animals Make Better People are two extensions that will be explored to diversify and grow the business.
Trewman & Henry will work diligently to provide positive contributions to the local community and act as an advocate for animal welfare.
..... Personal Notes:
Trewman and Henry have been part of my small family for several years now…….with Trewman being “adopted” at 7 months, now 9yrs and Henry being adopted at 8weeks, with Henry being 5yrs. They have been great companions and loyal friends and have been through many ups and downs over the years. And for that this company has just started to take on special meaning and purpose; to help other dogs find families through rescue, fostering and of course adoption! Trewman and Henry were both adopted from a local animal shelter and my life has not been the same.
There is not a day that goes by that I don’t receive some sort of love and or affection from both of them separately or as a team. After a day at work and the door is swung open I am greeted by licks, tails a wagging and some sort of dog language, The Bark!
My day could be a pile of dog crap, but they soon make me forget the stress of the day and get me in the car to go to the dog park. Everyday!
My personal goal with Dogs Make Better People.com is to raise money for animal shelters so they can continue to provide food, medicine and shelter as well as raise awareness that dog shelters are great places to find the special four legged friend!
The bond and friendship that has been created with “My Boys” and the inspiration that has been found in them will continue for years to come. And I will be grateful to you for supporting the effort and cause of Dogs Make Better People.
Sincerely,
Thom, Trewman and Henry
On a recent trip to Starbucks I picked up a USA Today paper that had a picture of a dog on the front page. The article was in the LIFE section of the paper talking about a movement that is going from coast to coast addressing the need and cause for raising money for Canine Cancer Research. This article got my attention and has given greater purpose in taking dogsmakebetterpeople.com to another level while creating more awareness about the reason why this cause is so important. This is yet another cause where funding can go and where Dogsmakebetterpeople.com can help. Canine Cancer Research.
Dogsmakebetterpeople.com was created to help those in need.....it be shelter, food or to cure a disease that takes 1 life out of 4. The Morris Animal Foundation helps animals enjoy longer, healthier lives by advancing health and welfare worldwide. Together with your generous support we can help one animal and one dog at a time.
By wearing one of our t-shirts (additional products to come) you are showing your support for animal welfare locally, nationally and throughout the world. They all need our help.
If we all were to champion a cause that touches our lives our world would be a much happier and healthier place to live. Our dogs give us so much that what we do here and in the future by supporting this foundation and Dogsmakebetterpeople.com, will continue their unconditional love and affection for years to come.
My first adoption at the Humane Society was 7month old Yellow lab mix. I named him Herb. He had a very short life and before the age of 2 he developed Accute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Herbs' light was short and bright but he is now part of something that can help other dogs and make a difference.
Sincerely,
Thom, Trewman and Henry
